Customer Account Specialist Start at $55k Annually or more depending on experience

Position Summary:

The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day interactions with customers, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth flow of information between the customer and internal departments. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the production and delivery of fabricated metal products.

Internal Relationships: All Departments

External Relationships: Regular contact with customers or prospective customers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact with customers.  
• Manage customer transactions accurately and on time, including order and quote entry, and resolution of billing, shipping, quality, and change requests.
• Support customers and strengthen relationships.
• Advocate for customers while aligning with company priorities.
• Monitor job flow through our production software and communicate with team members and customers to ensure timely status updates and on-time delivery.
• Contribute to the achievement of department and/or company goals as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2–5 years in customer service, account management, or order processing
• Experience handling high-volume customer interactions (calls, email, or both)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Highly organized and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, actively contributing to achieving company goals in sales, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Must be dependable.

Preferred Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Epicor)

Environment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:   

• This position is carried out in a professional office environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
• This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
• This is largely a sedentary role; however occasional lifting, bending, and standing would be required.
