Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician’s role is to maintain and repair industrial machinery, equipment, and systems. They work with a variety of equipment, including factory equipment, conveying systems, and manufacturing machinery. They may need to be able to work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of various manufacturing equipment such as CNC laser and plasma cutting equipment, CNC milling and lathe machines, CNC press brakes, rolls, manual MIG and TIG welding machines, robotic MIG welding machines, blast booths, wash booths, wet paint and powder coating booths and curing ovens.
- Conduct routine maintenance of our multiple office and manufacturing buildings such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pneumatic compressors, carpentry, general maintenance items etc.
- Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
- Electronically log and maintain records of all details pertaining to the Maintenance Department.
- Communicate effectively with operations regarding any scheduled or unscheduled machine down time.
- Communicate with other members of the Maintenance Team to ensure the team is kept up to date on maintenance issues.
- Monitor and maintain the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate and assist outside contractors with on-site projects.
- Other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing and office maintenance.
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
- Proficient experience with hand and power tools
- Basic reading skills
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Position requires the ability to work in variable temperatures.
- Position requires the ability to work in tight or elevated spaces.
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Position involves working in both indoor and outdoor locations.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
