Position Summary
Anchor Construction is seeking a Safety Officer to support field operations by promoting a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular job site, vehicle, and equipment safety inspections
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions and safety violations
- Deliver on-site and crew safety training
- Investigate incidents and complete accurate safety reports in HCSS
- Support field leadership with safety guidance and corrective actions
- Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- High school diploma or GED
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- OSHA 500 & 510 required; CHST preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
