Safety Officer – Energized Underground Electrical
Location: DMV & Eastern Shore
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary Range: $95,000 – $112,000
Overview
Anchor Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Safety Officer with expertise in energized underground electrical work, including hot splicing. This role supports multiple job sites and plays a key role in ensuring OSHA compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety inspections of job sites and equipment.
- Identify and correct safety hazards and violations.
- Provide on-site and crew safety training.
- Investigate incidents and complete reports in HCSS.
- Support foremen and crews with safety guidance and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of energized underground electrical experience.
- OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510/500, CHST/OHST preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Valid driver's license (3 points or fewer).
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 120 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
