Overview
Anchor Construction is seeking a dependable pipelayer to support construction projects including utilities, concrete, site development, and infrastructure work. This position supports daily jobsite operations while maintaining safety and productivity across multiple locations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, install, connect, repair, and replace various types of pipe and fittings.
- Use hand tools, pipe lasers, tapping machines, and transit levels.
- Read blueprints to determine pipe locations, elevations, and slopes.
- Cut pipe to required lengths and angles and properly use installation materials, including glues and lubricants.
- Perform physically demanding/manual labor associated with pipe installation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA and state safety requirements.
- Report safety hazards or jobsite concerns to appropriate supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Construction experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
- Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus
