Job Summary
The Housekeeping Aide plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. Duties
- Count linen deliveries.
- Clean guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as required, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Deliver clothes to resident's rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds as part of daily duties.
