Position Overview:
Schedule B-2 First Robotics Sponsor is responsible for creating a safe and engaging afterschool environment for students. This role aims to provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere where students can participate in various subject-related activities that promote growth, learning, and social development. The program ensures students feel included, supported, and safe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage students during afterschool activities to maintain a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.
• Plan and facilitate various structured and unstructured activities that promote student interaction and development.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging respect, collaboration, and positive behavior.
• Monitor student well-being, ensuring they are safe and comfortable at all times.
• Communicate with parents and guardians as necessary, providing updates on student activities and behavior.
• Assist in managing any behavioral issues, ensuring that all students are treated fairly and respectfully.
• Collaborate with other staff and team members to organize events and activities that enhance the afterschool program.
• Ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations and district policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students in a group setting (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an engaging and positive environment for all students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

• After school hours and may include weekend events (specific times may vary based on school schedule).
