Key Responsibilities
As a Universal Banker, you will:
- Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other financial transactions with accuracy and care.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Open and maintain various account types and assist customers with safe deposit box access.
- Balance your cash drawer daily and assist with ATM and night depository transactions under dual control.
- Cross-sell bank products and consistently meet or exceed referral and sales goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support other branches as needed and participate in special projects or tasks.
- Provide exceptional service by responding professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
Education & Experience
Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED
We’re hiring for multiple levels:
Universal Banker I
✔ At least 1 year of cash-handling experience (Teller experience preferred)
Universal Banker II
✔ At least 2 years of Teller experience
✔ 1 year of Platform experience
Universal Banker III
✔ Fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions
✔ Strong customer service, sales, risk management, and cash operations experience
