Position Summary
The Development Associate supports Anchor & Oak’s fundraising and revenue-generation service lines. This role is a full-time, client-facing position focused on helping nonprofit partners build strong fundraising systems, manage donor communications, and execute campaigns. Working closely with the Principal, the Associate contributes to projects ranging from annual fund strategy to major gift campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily fundraising operations for multiple clients (donor acknowledgments, gift tracking, CRM updates, reporting).
- Draft case materials, appeal letters, and stewardship communications.
- Conduct prospect research and help prepare briefs for client meetings.
- Support capital campaign logistics and event coordination.
- Maintain accurate data and generate donor insights to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with A&O team members to deliver excellence in all client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business management, communications, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or project coordination
- Excellent writing and organization skills; comfort with CRM software and Google Workspace.

Compensation & Benefits
- $45,000–$55,000 FT annual base salary
- Annual Step Increase (for satisfactory performance)
- Performance Bonus (up to 5 %)
