What You'll Do
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Create engaging, individualized lessons that meet students where they are.
- Foster a safe, loving, and Christ-centered classroom culture.
- Differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with therapists, families, paraprofessionals, and fellow educators.
- Celebrate every milestonebig and small.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and lifelong learning.
- Utilize technology, hands-on activities, and creative teaching strategies to make learning meaningful.
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and educational documentation.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating Christian values in both words and actions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 classroom
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
