- Manages and directs the assigned region toward its primary objectives, based on profit and return on capital. Responsible for overall implementation and management of financial institution objectives, policies, and strategic plans regarding profitability, loan growth, and deposit growth. Responsible for leadership and development of all managers and officers in the region.
- Responsible for developing new business and the maintenance of existing customer relationships.
- Identifies opportunities for loan and deposit growth and development. Develops strategic plans for meeting profitability, loan growth, and deposit growth goals.
- Represents the Bank and provides leadership in key community activities, including business, charitable, non-profit, civic, and social organizations, to maintain a proper responsible citizen stature for the Bank.
- Provides direct guidance of personnel activities affecting the key Bank management team, including salary administration, management incentive, and department performance objectives, to ensure solid team efforts toward attaining established goals.
- Serves as a member of the Loan Committee.
- Oversees operations of the region by comparing operating results with established objectives and ensures that measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
- Provides direct supervision of senior Bank management and officers within the region. Responsible for hiring, development, performance review, and disciplinary counseling of these employees.
- Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established Bank policies and Board approval.
- Assists with establis ing current and long-range financial objectives, plans, and policies of the region, as directed and approved by the Board of Directors.
- Coordinates lending activities through guidance and direction of all officers in the lending department.
- This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
- Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards.
- Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- 8 years in a senior management position with extensive financial institution management and lending background or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
