Hiring Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.50 per hour
- This position may be eligible to receive an additional $1.00 per hour is approved for the Spanish Communication Assistant Program
- The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary
- This role is primarily responsible for the day-to-day running of the Account Processing department and assisting the Central Operations management in achieving bank objectives. The Supervisor will ensure all staff provides excellent customer service and support to ANB Bank customers, both internal and external. The individual will supervise departmental personnel whose responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: hiring, counseling, training, providing reviews, coaching, disciplinary action, staff development, mentoring and job terminations. The person will also ensure their team is following bank policies and/or procedures in compliance with all applicable regulations or statutes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees multiple operational, risk and control objectives.
- Provides exceptional support to business partners across organization.
- Independently creates and establishes policies and procedures for all related departmental tasks to ensure the department can cross-train efficiently.
- Ensures the department is audit ready.
- Supervises Account Processing staff, including the hiring, training, cross-training, goal setting and staff development, performance evaluation and disciplinary counseling of this staff.
- Develops a strong understanding of the issues, analyzes the business scenarios’ root causes, articulates key risks and customer impacts, develops and provides feedback on appropriate remediation strategies, validates and tests the remediation plans and provides assurances of quality remediation results by validating the remediation work.
- Manages, leads and coaches the team which is responsible for a variety of operational tasks with the ability to coordinate these resources to complete business objectives and support their performance development.
- Identifies and independently resolves unusual problems related to the department and its systems.
- Ensures quality standards, team metrics and service levels are achieved.
- Independently maintains and administers departmental systems and conducts required audits, as necessary.
- Develops a working knowledge of operational dynamics and key drivers, including external industry knowledge of capabilities and best practices.
- Possesses strong teamwork, relationship and client management skills with the ability to partner with other business units to lead complex initiatives.
- Possesses the ability to work independently with very little management oversight.
- Assessed current state processes and controls to help identify and define forward looking solutions that improve processing, client experience, system and operator controls and establish a best in class foundation for the future.
- Displays effective leadership, including the following: track record of delivering strong results, demonstrated ability to lead others to accomplish goals, strong conflict resolution skills and excellent communication, both through presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement in current department processes.
- Independently identifies departmental deficiencies and suggests improvements.
- Ability to travel (<10%) and work non-standard hours, as needed.
- Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.
- Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards.
- Maintains confidentiality as defined by department standards.
- Supports the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position directly supervises Account Processing department staff.
Education and/or Experience
- 3 years of financial industry and/or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of other work history and/or education.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Preferred supervisory experience.
- Preferred advance experience (i.e. 3 years) with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred advanced understanding of banking products, services, forms, and regulations.
