Physical Education Teacher 

The Anansi Charter School is seeking a full-time Physical Education teacher. We are seeking a teacher who loves building relationships and teaching the critical skills needed to develop foundational skills with students in grades second through eighth grade.

This job requires a New Mexico Public Education Teaching License, Level 1, 2, or 3. It is preferred to have an emphasis in reading instruction. New Mexico licensure is reciprocal with most other states.

Anansi is a locally authorized public charter school founded in 2001, it is 2018 National Blue Ribbon School for closing the achievement gap, and it is a top performing kindergarten through eighth grade school. Anansi is located just north of the beautiful destination community of Taos New Mexico. Anansi has one class of 22 students per grade level. In addition to its core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, the school offers Spanish language instruction, visual arts, music, and physical education.

Salary : $56,700 - $80,000
