What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Supervisor position at Anamosa Care Center?
The Anamosa Care Center is looking for a dietary supervisor to join our team. This position contains but not limited to organizing, directing and leading the dietary team. One in this position will train dietary staff, sanitary habits, general food storage and safety. This person will also plan menus, purchase food with the budget you are given for the week, complete the order, help, attend and cook for events held at both Assisted Living and Anamosa Care Center and attend care conferences weekly. This person will assist the Chef when he is in the building and cook brunch 2 times a month for the Assisted Living. This person must be able to work truck (typically Thursday mornings at 4am) and be able to fill in dietary shifts that are not staffed.
This person must follow all policies and procedures.
This position is 3 office days and 2 cook days. Requires a High School Diploma and 1 to 2 years dietary experience in a healthcare setting.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and accept and perform additional duties assigned by the Administrator and/or Assisted Living Director.
