Position Overview
As a CNA at Anam Memory Care, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents while promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life. You will be an essential member of a collaborative care team focused on safety, engagement, and person-centered memory care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, eating, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident health status, behaviors, and changes in condition
- Support residents with mobility and transfers using proper safety techniques
- Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment
- Encourage participation in daily routines and life enrichment activities
- Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, and leadership regarding resident needs
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and families
Required
- Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care
- Experience working with individuals living with dementia
- CPR certification
