Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision components in a fast-paced factory environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency with various manufacturing tools. The CNC Lathe Operator will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality production standards are met consistently.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify parts meet specifications
- Maintain proper tooling and fixtures, including tooling changes on CNC lathes.
- Conduct routine inspections of machined parts for quality control compliance
- Assist with materials handling, fabrication
- Move materials, tools and equipment within the manufacturing facility
- Follow safety protocols related to machining operations, and materials handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines in a manufacturing or factory setting
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls is highly desirable
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T principles, mechanical knowledge, and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Experience with tooling setup, and materials handling
- Ability to operate related machinery such as CNC milling machines is desirable
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations required during machining processes
- Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing environment

Pay: $26.97 - $32.48 per hour
