What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Intern position at Analytica?
ANALYTICA, a rapidly growing government contractor, is seeking a part-time Business Development Intern. Our work includes data analytics, creating dashboards and visualizations, and managing data and strategy for clients such as the Departments of Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Treasury, and more. The successful candidate will join a small team and gain experience working with data, developing reports, and helping to develop business and account plans. This internship also includes the opportunity use data to drive sales strategy, contribute to marketing and event planning, and learn and practice business writing. This is a Spring 2024 internship with the possibility to extend into the summer.
As a Business Development Intern, you will:
Identify and track new business / Federal Procurement opportunities through various channels (FBO, GSA, various online portals)
Conduct market research utilizing BD tools such as GovWin IQ, FPDS, other Federal Contracting research tools
Develop knowledge and experience using Public Sector IT with a focus in BI/Data Analytics and Account areas of: Federal Health (HHS - CMS/CDC/FDA), Civilian Agencies / Financial Services (IRS, SEC, ED), and Defense (DHA/Homeland Security)
Become proficient in Business Development tools and websites
Contribute to Marketing activities
Navigate and utilize Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Gain exposure to and utilize many other organizational tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, etc.
Support the Capture and Proposal teams as required
