A large regional bank is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer for the design, development, and delivery of enterprise CRM solutions. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, helping transform business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce capabilities.
Location: Florham Park, NJ
Salary: Up to $80/hr, up to $160k base if it converts to full-time after 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture, configuration, and development activities across Salesforce platforms, including Financial Services Cloud, OmniStudio, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define solution strategies and deliver projects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design intelligent automation, AI-enabled workflows, and customer engagement solutions leveraging Agentforce capabilities.
- Establish integration frameworks, API strategies, and enterprise data models that support performance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive engineering excellence through development standards, code reviews, reusable frameworks, and technical best practices.
- Oversee release management, CI/CD processes, environment strategy, and production support for complex implementations.
- Mentor technical team members, provide architectural guidance, and identify opportunities to expand AI-driven business value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of Salesforce development and solution leadership experience, preferably within financial services or regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, data architecture, and Salesforce platform design.
- Experience implementing AI-powered Salesforce solutions and enterprise-scale integrations.
- Knowledge of secure application design, compliance controls, and DevOps practices.
Preferred Certifications:
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Application Architect or Technical Architect
- Financial Services Cloud certification
