Experienced Janitor / Custodian – Lower Monumental Dam

Job Summary

Analytic Acquisitions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to provide cleaning services at Lower Monumental Dam, a Federal Government facility located near Kahlotus, Washington.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor position paying $25.00 per hour, with a consistent Monday-through-Thursday service schedule of up to 32 hours per week. Benefits are not provided.

Lower Monumental Dam is a remote work location. Applicants should carefully consider the location and their ability to reliably commute to the site before applying.

The contractor will be responsible for cleaning multiple buildings and assigned areas throughout the Lower Monumental Dam site. Each building or area has specific cleaning requirements and standards that must be completed consistently.

Attention to detail, reliability, and quality control are essential for success at this location. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial, industrial, or custodial cleaning experience and be comfortable working independently.

Schedule

Services are regularly scheduled Monday through Thursday, beginning at approximately 4:00 PM and ending at approximately midnight, or upon completion of required contract cleaning obligations, with a maximum of 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial and industrial cleaning throughout assigned buildings and areas at Lower Monumental Dam.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and perform other routine custodial duties.
• Perform floor-care duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining finished floors.
• Follow the specific cleaning requirements established for each assigned building and area.
• Maintain required cleanliness and quality standards throughout the site.
• Work independently and ensure assigned cleaning responsibilities are completed thoroughly and consistently.
• Monitor cleaning products and supplies and report when additional supplies are needed.
• Properly use and maintain assigned janitorial equipment.
• Identify and report facility or maintenance concerns when necessary.
• Follow applicable safety procedures, site requirements, and requirements associated with providing services at a Federal Government facility.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, industrial, custodial, or janitorial cleaning experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with commercial floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing, is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning requirements for multiple buildings and areas.
• Ability to consistently complete required cleaning responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation and ability to consistently report to the Lower Monumental Dam worksite.
• Ability to meet applicable requirements for access to and providing services at a Federal Government facility.
