What are the responsibilities and job description for the US Sales Manager position at Analogix Semiconductor?
Role Summary
Responsible for all NA and European sales activities. The selected candidate must have a solid track record in semiconductor sales. Drive design wins and revenue growth for Analogix smart connectivity and display TCON products across top-tier North American OEMs. Primary accounts include Dell, HP, Microsoft, Apple, and other leading PC and consumer-tech brands. He or she will be responsible for territory sales plan, delivering success against sales targets, generating new business opportunities, growing customer relationships and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strategic, multi-level partnerships with major US OEMs; influence system architecture teams to specify Analogix products for downstream ODM/panel maker execution.
- Identify display-related opportunities across notebooks, PCs, peripherals, and emerging device categories; secure early architectural engagement.
- Lead design-in strategy for TCONs, repeaters, converter ICs, and related display-interface components; collaborate closely with FAEs, product management, and silicon engineering.
- Manage the full sales cycle from concept discussions and technical evaluations through RFQs, commercial negotiation, and mass-production transitions.
- Monitor competitive dynamics and proactively position Analogix advantages to challenge customer assumptions.
- Negotiate pricing, supply plans, and long-term agreements, coordinating with operations and executive leadership.
- Support marketing events, product introductions, and customer reviews; represent customer requirements internally with clarity, rigor, and data.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years in semiconductor sales or business development, ideally in display, interface, or high-speed mixed-signal components.
- Demonstrated success winning design-ins at Tier-1 PC OEMs (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft others)
- Managing CPU/GPU supplier engagement and partnerships,
- Strong understanding of display architectures: TCONs, eDP, DP, USB-C/Alt-Mode, SERDES, panel stackups, and system-level constraints.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-presence skills.
- Experience in navigating a multinational corporate environment to be effective in customer program execution and roadmap alignment,
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally to Asia.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering/Computer Science or Business-related technical field.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $250,000. At Analogix, the sales roles salaries are expressed as total compensation (Base Commission). The salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
