Position: Senior Product Application Engineer Location: Beijing, China Role Summary We are looking for a Senior or Staff Product Application Engineer to support China BU OCP products across the full lifecycle, from product definition and application design to customer enablement and production release. In this role, you will apply strong application‑ and system‑level understanding to bridge IC design, marketing/system teams, and customers, ensuring products are designed, positioned, and adopted successfully in real systems. Key Responsibilities Develop system‑ and application‑level understanding of products, including customer use cases, performance trade‑offs, and system constraints. Translate customer application requirements into product definition inputs, electrical specifications, and usage guidelines. Collaborate with IC design, marketing/system, and validation teams during product development and release. Analyze silicon characterization and validation data and contribute to datasheet specifications and application recommendations. Develop application schematics and reference designs, and review PCB schematic and layout from an application perspective. Support customer design‑in activities and resolve application issues through lab evaluation and structured debugging. Create application notes, user guides, reference code, and evaluation materials to support customers, FAEs, and sales teams. Participate in customer meetings and on‑site support, providing technical input and collecting feedback for future products. Qualifications MSEE or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong background in signal‑chain and mixed‑signal systems (e.g. ADC, DAC, amplifiers, TIA, PGA). Solid understanding of IC behavior in system‑level applications, including performance trade‑offs and limitations. Experience with PCB schematic design and layout, and the ability to review board designs at the application level. Programming experience in LabVIEW, Python, and/or C/C for lab automation, data analysis, or reference code. Strong problem‑solving skills and effective communication across customers and cross‑functional teams. Nice to have: Experience with robotics motor control applications, including embedded control of actuators involving motors, sensing feedback, and real‑time interaction between hardware and firmware. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
