Job Overview:
Oversees production planning, creates detailed manufacturing schedules, and manages resources to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity. Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing; managing load leveling, analyzing bottlenecks, and ensuring inventory efficiency. Key responsibilities include creating, executing, and monitoring schedules and supervising staff to ensure deadlines are met.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedule Development: Develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS), integrating forecasts with plant capacity, inventory strategies, and material requirements.
- Operational Management: Lead load leveling, bottleneck analysis, and capacity planning to ensure efficient workflows.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as liaison between sales, procurement, and production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on KPIs such as schedule compliance, on-time delivery, and inventory levels.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to create long-term production plans (6-12 months) based on forecasting and business goals. Participate in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings to align production with financial targets and long-term strategy.
- Leadership & Supervision: Ability to manage staff performance, maintain accountability, and drive team productivity.
- Communication: Effective, proactive communication to bridge cross-functional departments.

Skills Required/Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or engineering is typically required.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (JBA) and scheduling software (Taylor with new system to be implemented 2026).
- Certifications: Professional credentials such as APICS CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) are highly valued.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets, perform Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, and conduct risk assessments.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse teams under pressure
FLSA Working conditions:
1. Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 days remote
2. Schedule may fluctuate based on business needs.
3. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
