Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves technical leadership, system design, and mentoring development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and robust application architectures using Ruby on Rails
- Define technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
- Lead system design discussions and architectural decisions
- Oversee application performance, security, and scalability
- Mentor and guide developers, conducting code and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Strong experience with system architecture and design patterns
- Proficiency in database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of API design and integrations
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
Experience
- 7–12 years of software development experience, with significant time in Rails
- Proven track record of architecting complex systems
