Job Title: Node.js Developer (GraphQL Specialist)

Location: Sunnyvale, California

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong expertise in GraphQL to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building efficient APIs, optimizing data fetching, and ensuring high performance across applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement robust GraphQL APIs and schemas.
• Optimize queries, resolvers, and data fetching for performance and scalability.
• Integrate multiple data sources (databases, REST APIs, third-party services) into GraphQL.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to define API requirements and improve data flow.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server, schema design, resolvers).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of ORM/ODM libraries (e.g., Prisma, Mongoose, Sequelize).
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance monitoring tools.
