What You’ll Do
In this vital front-desk role, you’ll keep our facility organized and running smoothly while ensuring everyone who walks through our doors feels seen and cared for.
Your day will include:
- Answering and transferring calls in a professional, courteous manner while managing the main switchboard and paging system.
- Greeting and directing patients, visitors, and vendors, ensuring all guests are signed in and following facility procedures.
- Providing helpful assistance to patients and staff — from making change and checking valuables to handling meal tickets and postage.
- Sorting and distributing mail and managing outgoing correspondence.
- Handling payments, receipts, and petty cash with accuracy and integrity.
- Supporting facility departments with data entry and clerical tasks as needed.
- Receiving deliveries and documenting shipments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining a safe, secure environment by monitoring the visitor logbook and issuing badges when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- At least one year of administrative, reception, or customer service experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — warm, professional, and patient-focused
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- A compassionate approach to interacting with individuals in a behavioral health environment
