Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things running efficiently and safely? We’re looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain our behavioral healthcare facility and create a safe, comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
What You’ll Do
- Perform daily maintenance and repair work on facility equipment and systems — including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and general mechanical repairs.
- Keep our campus in top shape through lawn care, landscaping, and upkeep of parking lots and sidewalks.
- Conduct regular inspections of emergency power equipment, generators, fire alarm systems, extinguishers, and lighting to ensure safety and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues quickly — reporting hazards, breakdowns, and safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and work areas to ensure a clean, safe workspace.
- Assist with room setups for meetings and events and help coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
- Participate in fire and disaster drills, staying ready to respond in emergencies.
- Be available for on-call and weekend rotations when facility needs arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certification or licensure in a skilled trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is a plus!
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Someone who takes initiative, works well independently, and truly cares about keeping our facility safe, efficient, and welcoming.
