An Open Door Adoption Agency (AOD) assists expectant mothers who find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy and unsure of which path to take regarding her future and that of her baby’s. AOD has been established and licensed as a private, non-profit, Christian agency since 1986. We maintain degreed and experienced adoption counselors who cover all of Georgia. AOD has adoption consulting staff within 50 miles of any expectant mother in the state. We offer adoption plans that range from totally closed to fully open.

An Open Door Adoption Agency, a Christian-based organization, is seeking a part-time, bilingual Spanish and English, adoption consultant in the Atlanta area on an as-needed basis to:

• provide counseling services to birth parents placing their children for adoption
• work with adoptive parents to provide home study, post placement written reports and adoption consulting
• promote and network agency

Qualifications:

• minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling or social work field
• minimum of 3 years experience in social work or related field
• Bilingual Spanish and English

Notes:

• Time varies = varying pay based on work volume of area
• Consultants are paid both hourly and on contract
• This is not a 9am-5pm position
• Mileage is reimbursed
• Not well suited for those with another job or inflexible commitments
• Must respond immediately at times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
