HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician to support the readiness of its fleet vehicles.In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, fleet reworks and contribute towards the operations of our workshop. This will include scheduled/preventative maintenance and services, diagnostics, repair coordination, and general upkeep of vehicles.We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in automotive maintenance and repair who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Available schedules include:Sun–Thu: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMMon–Fri: 2:00 PM–11:30 PM or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMTue–Sat: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMWed–Sun: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMThu–Mon: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMFri–Tue: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMSat–Wed: 2:00 PM–11:30 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or 10:00 PM–7:30 AMAs a Vehicle Technician, you'll:Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation.Partner with the Shop Foreman to ensure all vehicles are in a “ready” state for testing and demonstration.Perform diagnostics and escalate complex issues to engineering teams as needed.Coordinate and drive the repair process from diagnosis through resolution.Develop diagnostic test plans to support troubleshooting and validation.Maintain detailed service records and document quality field reports.Keep shop facilities organized, ensuring tools and workspaces are in excellent condition.Assist with parts inventory, storage, and organization.Deliver a high-quality service experience for internal teams and stakeholders.Travel locally as needed to support fleet operations.
