HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician to support the readiness and performance of its fully autonomous fleet.In this role, you’ll perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet reworks while supporting daily workshop operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for testing and deployment.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of mechanical work and engineering support.As a Vehicle Technician, you'll:Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road operation. Partner with the shop foreman to ensure vehicles are in a ready state for demonstrations and testing. Perform diagnostics and escalate complex issues to engineering teams as needed. Coordinate and drive repair activities from diagnosis through resolution. Develop diagnostic test plans to support troubleshooting and validation efforts. Maintain accurate service records and document detailed field quality reports. Ensure shop facilities, tools, and workspaces are organized, clean, and fully operational. Support parts inventory management, including tracking, organization, and location control. Deliver a high-quality service experience for internal teams and business partners. Travel locally as needed to support vehicle maintenance, testing, and operations.
