HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an experienced Endpoint Administrator (Linux) to support the rollout and ongoing maintenance of the Linux desktop fleet, with a focus on configuration management, automation, and fleet operations.In this role, you will help manage the company’s physical and virtual endpoints to ensure they are secure, reliable, and consistent at scale.This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Foster City, CA, and it is available to candidates who are local to the Bay Area.As an Endpoint Administrator (Linux), you'll:Perform Linux system installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing maintenance across physical and virtual desktops.Implement and maintain SaltStack configurations to enforce system baselines and automate repeatable tasks.Contribute to sprint-based engineering efforts focused on endpoint reliability, compliance, and lifecycle management.Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across a large fleet of Linux systems.Execute operational procedures for OS/software updates, re-imaging, and break/fix scenarios.Participate in change management processes and maintain accurate technical documentation.Collaborate with engineers and IT support teams to ensure endpoint compliance and functionality.
