Job Overview
AMZ Risk Management is a private consulting firm focused on developing Asset Protection Programs for luxury and high-end specialty retailers. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Loss Prevention Manager (LPM) to join our team overseeing security and loss prevention functions at a high-end flagship retail location in Chicago, IL. As the on-site LPM, you will be responsible for executing and managing comprehensive loss prevention strategies at a premier retail store known for its high visibility and elevated customer experience. This role offers high visibility, broad scope, and the opportunity to shape best-in-class practices for safety, compliance, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the performance and compliance of contract security guard staff, including scheduling and training.
- Maintain all security systems, including CCTV, EAS, and access control.
- Lead theft investigations and support internal case development.
- Coordinate emergency response and employee safety training for all store personnel.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors, including physical security, fire safety, and inventory control.
- Promote store-wide awareness of loss prevention protocols, to include training.
- Collaborate with store leadership to identify risks and ensure a safe, secure environment for customers and team members.
- Assist in researching all inventory count and cycle count-related losses.
Experience
- 5–7 years of leadership experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or retail security within specialty, luxury, or high-volume environments.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology, including CCTV systems and monitoring equipment.
- Excellent written communication skills for report writing and documentation purposes.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach teams on a busy sales floor.
- Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Flexibility to support evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
