Amyx is seeking a Software Developer to support our DLA Energy contract in a remote capacity. The Developer will assist a dynamic technical team in the design, development, and sustainment of applications and subsystems that support DLA Energy's mission operations.
- Formulate and define specifications, design, code, test, debug, and document software applications.
- Participate in the design of reusable software tools and subsystems to enhance efficiency and domain analysis.
- Collaborate with analysts and designers to research and document user requirements and system objectives.
- Translate technical requirements into detailed program specifications.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and technical guides for users and support staff.
- Modify and document program code to correct errors or expand application capabilities.
- Conduct application testing and prepare reports on system performance and maintenance.
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Required:
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including sustainment and modernization activities.
- Knowledge of application design, programming, testing, and documentation standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- NACLC and IT-II eligibility.
- Experience with Microsoft.Net, SQL, C#, java, and other programming languages.
- Experience with secure development practices (e.g. STIG, OWASP) and DevSecOps.
- Agile/Scrum background.
- 5 years of programming experience.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
Desired:
- Security CE (IAT II) and computing environment certifications (Microsoft, Oracle, etc.) or ability to obtain within 60 days of start.
- DoD experience.
