Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Knowledge of contracting principles, laws regulation and procedures.
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
- Familiarity with price and cost analysis principles.
- Written communication skills refined sufficiently to summarize events and technical discussions; prepare recommendations and alternatives document, strategies and outcomes, and correspondence of a persuasive and/or directive nature.
- Verbal communication skills must be developed to the degree that can articulate contractual issues and provide guidance to non-contracting customers regarding provisions, practices, procedures, and problem resolution.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office programs and data management systems
- Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in one of the following project/program management; logistics; acquisition; requirements generation; life cycle management; acquisition support; purchasing and procurement of DoD supplies and services.
- The experience may reduced to 4 years if the candidate has a Bachelor's Degree.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and DOD acquisition procedures.
