Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and adjust therapies accordingly for optimal results.
• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy and related fields such as physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance service quality.

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
• Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, Hot Stone, and prenatal massage.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to therapeutic massage practices.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and build trusting relationships.
