Entry Level Skills and Qualifications:

Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, willingness to go above and beyond, attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining your store’s cleanliness.
Must work at least 3 shifts. Must be willing to work one at night and one-weekend shift. Must wear hat/head covering, apron, and closed toed-shoes. Must wash hands frequently.

Job Duties/Functions
Scooping ice cream- Maintaining a clean environment and atmosphere for your co-workers and customers
- Determining and fulfilling customers Needs
- Adhering to all health code requirements
- Must perform wrists exercises prior to scooping
- Must operate a cash register and use good Money handling practices
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift ice cream tubs weighing 30-40 lbs- Repetitive use of wrists while scooping, crushing, and cutting
- Repetitive use of wrists while using cash register
- Long periods of standing (approximately 3-8 hours)
- Bending, reaching and squatting to clean and grab products
- Pulling pushing mop and other cleaning objects
- Pulling and pushing large equipment to clean under
Financial Literacy Training
Define the four key metrics we use to run the business- Assist your team in setting periodic labor and sales goals and give suggestions on how these goals may be reached.
- Assist your team to develop and maintain a scoreboard.
- Continuously coach team on actions to affect the game
- Collaborate on creating mini-games with the staff
Dress Code
- Amy’s requires employees to appear at work with a neat and clean appearance

- Must maintain good hygiene
- Amy’s is not obligated to tolerate an employee whose dirty appearance cannot be explained by the needs of the job. If the employee gives what amounts to a medical explanation for the odor, Amy’s has the right to require the employee to furnish medical documentation of that fact. If the employee does not claim a medical condition as the cause of the odor, the employer may address the issue through the corrective action process.
- Your clothes must be clean, comfortable, neat, and intact.
- No rips, holes or tears visible
- Employees must wear a shirt with a collar intact.
- Employee shirt must have both sleeves intact fully covering the underarm
- Tank tops are not allowed
- An employee must have closed toed shoes with a non slip sole
- An employee must wear a hairnet or hair restraint that fully covers the crown of the head while in a food prep area
- An employee may wear a hat or hair restraint of their choosing
- An employee may not wear a head covering advertising or promoting illegal behavior or expressing controversial opinions. This includes but is not limited to: political views, promoting or legalization of any controlled substances, personal sexual proclivities, religious beliefs, prejudicial language, racist or otherwise offensive statements etc…
- If an employee has shoulder length hair the employee must have the hair pulled back (pony tail) in addition to a head covering. Hair must be pulled away from the face.
- Facial hair is permitted. Amy’s maintains the right to ask the employee to wear a covering for the facial hair.
- Personal head covering must cover the crown of the head.
- Rings, bracelets and other jewelry that may come in direct contact with our product are discouraged while on shift.
- An Employee's shirt must cover the entire midsection while performing all functions of the job. This includes but is not limited to: Bending, lifting, reaching, scooping etc...
- An Employee’s clothing may not reveal their undergarments. This includes but is not limited to shear clothing, ripped or torn garments, or low hanging pants
- An employee may not wear clothing advertising or promoting illegal behavior or expressing controversial opinions. This includes but is not limited to: political views, promoting or legalization of any controlled substances, personal sexual proclivities, religious beliefs, prejudicial language, racist or otherwise offensive statements etc...
- An employee’s Shorts may not reveal their undergarments, upper thigh or lower back while performing all functions of this job. This includes but is not limited to:
