Pay: $18/hr.

Location: 221 Phil Meador Ave, Pocatello, ID 83202

Duration: 6 weeks ( July 13th-August 28th)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Project Details: 

We areseekinga detail-oriented and proactive intern to join the Manufacturing Operations Team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience while supporting continuous improvement efforts by assisting with Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) related to top production aliases and contributing to batch sheet updates. This role will work cross-functionally with operations and quality teams to analyze issues, document findings, and help improve process accuracy and consistency.  

  • Assist in conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) for recurring production or system aliases. 
  • Gather and review production data to support issue investigations. 
  • Document findings and support corrective action tracking. 
  • Update and revise batch sheets to reflect process improvements or corrections. 
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and other plant teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.

Education 

  • Attending a four-year college or university toattain a degree in Business, Continuous Improvement or a related field;or already awardedbachelor’sdegree from a four-year college or university.  

Required Skills 

  • Clear written communication and documentation skills.  
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint).  
  • Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional plant teams. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset. 

 

Skills 

Language Skills 

  • Bilingual Required: English and Spanish. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. 
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders. 

Mathematical Skills 

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. 

Reasoning Ability 

  • Ability to define problems, collect data,establishfacts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
