Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Sales Representative to focus on generating new business through outside sales. This role requires a proactive individual skilled in building relationships, identifying client needs, and closing sales to grow the agency's customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales to generate new business opportunities and bring in new clients.
- Identify and approach potential clients to discuss insurance options tailored to their needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Complete and submit new business applications and ensure smooth onboarding for new clients.
Compensation
- Base salary of $40,000 per year
- Commission on each new business policy brought into the agency
- Additional bonus opportunities based on individual and agency performance
- $1,000 sign-on bonus for Licensed Insurance Professionals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in outside sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong sales skills, proficient in computer and phone systems, effective problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
- Licensing: Preference for candidates with a P&C and Life license. If unlicensed, must obtain P&C license prior to start date and Life licensing within 60 days (agency will reimburse the cost).
