Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist to join our Demolition Division. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Must have experience handling safety responsibilities of Demolition or Site development projects.
Duties:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety training programs for employees on topics such as CPR, first aid, and OSHA regulations
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and develop solutions
- Maintain records of safety training, incidents, and inspections
Skills:
- Proficiency in training development related to safety protocols
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures
- Ability to fabricate effective safety solutions
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis for incidents
- Understanding of occupational health standards
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and guidelines
- Background in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices
