Paralegal

Amundsen Davis Law, a full-service business law firm, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team and support attorneys in managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll work closely with the team on complex cases from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, preparing, and proofreading legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts, including e-filings, ensuring compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
• Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and managing case calendars.
• Coordinate discovery: draft and respond to discovery requests, organize and review documents, and prepare document productions.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, and regulations.
• Prepare attorneys for trials, hearings, and arbitrations by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating with witnesses and experts.
• Maintain well-organized electronic and physical case files for easy access and retrieval.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department (required).
• Paralegal certificate and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of litigation processes and court filing procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism and discretion with confidential matters.

Work Environment

• This position requires regular and predictable in-office attendance at our Milwaukee office
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities and varied assignments
