We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, finance, or actuarial science, along with proficiency in SQL and Power BI. This role involves analyzing complex data sets, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
* Collect, process, and analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
* Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
* Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
* Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support business initiatives.
* Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or a related field.
* Proven experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and data visualization techniques.
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
* Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
Preferred:
* Having knowledge of coding: Python, SAS or SQL is a plus
* Interest or experience in predictive analytics and/or machine learning
