Option of continuing employment at one of our facilities November – FebruarySummaryWe are searching for a talented and dedicated landscaper to join our team. In this role, you will perform a range of general lawn maintenance duties, including applying fertilizers, maintaining landscape designs, removing weeds and dead plants, and supervising repairs.
As our landscaper, you will ensure the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, lawn, and garden structures. The ideal candidate will be creative, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects such as mosquitoes, wasps, and ticks
• Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other assigned tasks
• Apply fertilizer to enhance plant growth
• Trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves, and remove weeds and dead plants
• Plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs
• Supervise maintenance and repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways
• Uphold the landscaping design and ensure healthy plant growth
• Coordinate with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure the garden meets client expectations

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of landscape or grounds-related work experience
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers
• Knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance preferred
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by the Company. May be required to acquire and maintain a specific applicator’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of landscaping and maintenance of lawns and formal plantings
• Ability to determine the appropriate tools and equipment needed for a given job
• Ability to operate riding and push mowers, power tillers, power edgers, weed whips, blowers, sprayers, tractors, skid steer loaders, dump-bed trucks, and basic hand tools
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner

Physical RequirementsThis position requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift, as well as talking, hearing, and seeing.
The role involves spending the majority of time outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared for possible exposure to distracting or uncomfortable noise levels, vibration of the body or extremities, risk of bodily injury from mechanical parts or electricity, and possible exposure to fumes or odors that may affect respiration and skin.Company BenefitsFor employees who continue with us beyond the seasonal role:
