Overview
A large, well-established enterprise organization is undergoing a major digital modernization initiative, transitioning legacy systems into a modern cloud architecture. As part of this effort, the team requires a CRM-focused Technical Project Manager / Solutions Architect who can validate solution designs, guide partners, and ensure technical alignment across multiple ongoing projects.
This role is not hands-on development but requires strong technical fluency, architectural awareness, and the ability to challenge solution recommendations from vendors and engineering teams.
Key Focus Areas
- Technical Project Management for CRM and related application initiatives
- CRM Solution Design and Architecture Review, with emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics
- Governance & Delivery Oversight, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Partner/Vendor Coordination and validation of proposed technical solutions
- Cloud Modernization Support as the organization migrates from legacy platforms to Azure Microsoft Fabric
What You’ll Do
Solution Validation & Architectural Oversight
- Review, challenge, and approve solution recommendations from partners and development teams.
- Ensure architecture decisions follow industry best practices and align with enterprise standards.
- Act as a technical advisor across multiple workstreams within a broader modernization program.
Technical Project Management
- Drive end-to-end delivery of CRM-related projects (primarily Microsoft Dynamics).
- Manage requirements, scope, timeline, technical feasibility, and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee change management, testing cycles, and go-live readiness.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
- Serve as the liaison between business, engineering, and vendor teams.
- Lead status meetings, communicate risks, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Coordinate with contractors, offshore teams, and integration partners.
Cloud & Integration Support
- Evaluate integration approaches involving Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Fabric, etc.).
- Provide direction to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solution designs.
- Support data, API, and workflow modernization efforts across related systems.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong Technical PM background supporting enterprise application or CRM initiatives.
- Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including solution design concepts.
- Ability to review and validate architectural decisions (without needing to code).
- Experience working with systems integrators, vendors, and engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to act as the “technical conscience” of a project—ensuring best-practice alignment.
- Experience supporting cloud modernization (Azure preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with business-facing stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Exposure to Azure integration components (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Fabric).
- Prior experience filling an interim leadership, advisory, or architect role.
- Familiarity with enterprise Agile delivery processes.
