Position Summary:
The Maintenance Engineering Manager leads a cross-functional team of engineers and maintenance professionals, driving process improvement and new technology integration across all production areas. The position focuses on ensuring safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and automation.
- Strong working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Demonstrated success in managing technical projects and capital investments.
Working Environment:
- The role operates primarily within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving mechanical components is common.
- Frequent floor presence is expected to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure effective collaboration between departments. Standing and walking for extended periods may be required.
