Dayforce Payroll Specialist

Hybrid Onsite in Montvale, NJ (3 days a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing for U.S., Canada, and U.K. employees.
• Prepare, review, and validate payroll data for submission to the third-party payroll provider.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries related to pay, taxes, deductions, direct deposits, garnishments, and timekeeping.
• Review payroll reports, reconcile payroll data, and assist with payroll audits and compliance.
• Support timekeeping administration, payroll documentation, and record maintenance.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to resolve payroll issues and ensure timely processing.
• Assist with payroll reporting, process improvements, and other payroll-related projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Dayforce Payroll/Time & Attendance is required.
• 2 years of payroll, HR, accounting, or related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian payroll in a multi-state/multi-location environment preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, taxes, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and meet payroll deadlines.
