We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Production Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
- Perform basic machining operations: drilling, tapping, and countersinking to specified tolerances
- Install hardware components per work orders and engineering drawings
- Assist powder coating department with prep, masking, and finishing operations
- Support other production departments as workflow requires
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform quality checks on completed work
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic math skills and proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as work orders and shipping manifests
- Ability to read tape measures and basic drawings
- Be physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs. in a safe manner and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Familiarity with drill press, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
Work Environment
Manufacturing shop environment with exposure to noise, metal dust, and powder coating chemicals. Safety equipment provided and required.
