ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Location: Tucson, Arizona 85756
Part-time: Flexible hours, 20 hours a week

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled, class of 2027
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Engineering or Manufacturing discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of component and assembly drawings.
- Experience or training in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD).
- Experience working with procedures and instructions.
- Methodical and able to record and process test data and create reports.
- Flexible, “can-do” attitude; ability to work effectively with many different people.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is generally responsible for supporting engineering.
- This individual must prepare test equipment and samples for testing, as well as perform testing under the direction of Product Engineers.
- They will set up and operate mechanical lab equipment and record the technical test data in spreadsheets.
- The position will also require the ability to use a variety of mechanical test tools, scales, and measurement instruments.
- The individual will create and revise CAD models and drawings.
- Corporate procedures, including Purchase Orders and Engineering Change Orders will be followed.
- Individuals will perform various other duties as assigned.
Salary : $30 - $31
