Duties/Responsibilities
- Cleaning wood, linoleum, tile, and other flooring types
- Cleaning lunchroom/Breakroom and restocking supplies
- Cleaning refrigerators and microwaves
- Wiping down kitchen equipment and countertops
- Shampooing rugs and carpets
- Emptying warehouse trash cans
- Dusting/ cleaning vents
- Dusting all surfaces High and Low
- Waxing and/or Buffing floors
- Accurate Ordering of cleaning supplies as needed
- Washing inside windows
- Sweeping warehouse floor with dust compound
- Breaking down cardboard boxes to be baled
- Maintaining and organizing inventory
- Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Collecting and taking out Office trash and recycling
- Report hazards to appropriate parties
- Maintain cleaning equipment and products
- 5 years of experience within the role
- Ability to lead team and delegate tasks accordingly
- Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
- Experience running different machinery for that related field like floor sweepers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, upholstery extractors, and vacuums.
- Experience cleaning or treating different tabletops/counter materials. ? Time management and multitasking abilities
- Organization skills
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate a pallet jack/ pallet moving equipment
- Basic mathematics skills
- Extensive floor care experience with knowledge of how to clean or treat different types of flooring materials.
- Proficient at stripping and waxing floors.
- The ability to track product usage and maintain an extensive inventory to prevent shortages.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and move over 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Physical strength and stamina
