We specialize in Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Orthopedics, supported by two affiliated ambulatory surgery centers providing minimally invasive and orthopedic procedures.
Summary
Our team is growing quickly, and we are in search of a skilled, friendly, and detail-oriented Nurse Circulator to support our operations across two surgery centers (Torrance, Newport Beach) with one day per week dedicated to pre-operative preparation and administrative duties. Goodlife provides and coordinates conservative modalities with pain relieving and orthopedic techniques to deliver the best opportunity for rapid and sustained correction of painful physical medicine disorders. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care by circulating during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety, efficient workflow, and proper communication among the surgical team.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, verify documentation, and confirm patient identity, consent, and procedural information per clinical protocols.
- Act as the patient advocate throughout the surgical process, monitoring comfort, safety, and overall experience.
- Assist with maintaining a sterile and organized operating room environment and adhere to all infection-control and safety standards.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Document all perioperative activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Perform one dedicated administrative/preparation day per week, including chart audits, pre-op record collection, patient communication, supply review, and coordination of surgical schedules.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within Goodlife’s integrated team to ensure continuity of care before and after surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement, regulatory compliance activities, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Experience as a circulating nurse in an ASC or hospital OR setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique, perioperative workflow, and surgical safety standards.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate effectively with clinical team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare or orthopedic surgery setting is a plus.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Schedule
- Three days per week
- Two days circulating win to local surgery centers (Torrance & Newport Beach)
- One day dedicated to pre-op prep, administrative duties, and support tasks at the Torrance location
- Occasional flexibility based on surgical scheduling needs
