About this opening: The Automation Controls Specialist will be responsible for their assigned projects from receipt of order until completion of installation. This role will include but is not limited to: electrical design, pneumatic design, programming, testing and installation.
Duties:
The programming will consist of but is not limited to: PLCs, HMIs, Robots, VFDs, Servo drives and vision systems. Individual will be required to perform field service on previously installed equipment as well as equipment installed by other manufacturers.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in PLC and/or robot programming languages.
- Excellent analytical skills to be applied in the design, programming and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
- 5 years of automation experience
- PLC and HMI programming experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired Experience:
- Designing pneumatic controls systems
- Electrical design experience
- AutoCAD experience
- AutoCAD Electrical 2009 and up
- Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB robot programming
- Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Toyopuc, Omron, and/or Mitsubishi PLC programming
- Industrial I/O network configuration
- Cognex and/or Keyence vision system programming
