Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Machining Department Lead / Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a small team, and support CNC setup, programming adjustments, troubleshooting, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor production progress.
• Support CNC setup, tooling, workholding, offsets, and troubleshooting.
• Edit and modify CNC programs directly at the machine.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Guide machinists and operators while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Monitor workflow, production schedules, and team accountability.
• Identify production issues and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of machining experience.
• Strong CNC setup and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to edit and modify CNC code at the machine.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with tooling, workholding, offsets, and machining processes.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising production staff.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Lead Machinist, CNC Lead, Setup Machinist, or Machining Supervisor.
• Experience managing workflow and production priorities in a manufacturing environment.
